Nutri Grain Iron Man

Hayden White, 24, took home his first surf lifesaving medal as an Under 8 in the State Titles at Maroubra, NSW and has continued to build an impressive list of results culminating in his recent qualification for the Kellogg’s Nutri Grain Series 2013/14 season. Hayden joined the sport aged five and spent most of his years at his hometown club, Warilla Barrack Point SLSC on the South Coast of New South Wales before moving to Mooloolaba SLSC on the Sunshine Coast in May 2013 to train under the guidance of Michael King and his Iron Man Academy. His drive and determination saw him not only achieve Kellogg’s

Ironman status but also complete a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Wollongong in 2011. His passion for surfing, fishing and diving offer a great reprieve from his busy schedule and he has an ongoing commitment to giving back to his sport by helping out at his original surf club in Warilla, as well as assisting long-term friend and coach, Michael Baker, at Brighton SLSC, South Australia. Hayden has also competed in kayaking and ocean racing events and looks forward to exploring the opportunities these two sports present in the coming years.
